21/52

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013

Ruby :: drawing and colouring always makes her face light up like that
Cole :: almost every pair of pjs he owns, whether new or old, all wear in the same spot, on the same knee
Eliot :: I wish he would be happy with a sink of water to occupy his need for 'washing up' - no, no - the plug must be out, the water must be running and it must be everywhere

I am certain this was the first week in this project that I had to consciously photograph the kids so as to have portraits to show. The last fortnight has been wonderful, full on and exhausting. I spent part of my weekend in Canberra photographing three beautiful families in the one day. Sunday was spent like this - making a mess, ignoring the dishes and the filthy dishwasher door, drawing and colouring, putting more holes in the knees of pyjamas.

  2. Pictures of the perfect Sunday! Gorgeous, and that knee, bizarre!
I can't wait to see what you've been doing since you've grown up ;) and I cannot WAIT to fly without kids. Xx

  3. Jarvis does the dishes the same way as Elliot. Love the glow radiating out of Ruby
