Esther was welcomed into our home this week. This MAY have been a purchase for myself, rather than the kids. She's so much fun.

If you need me this weekend, I'll be packing cases, boarding planes, cuddling a wee baby boy, putting. my. feet. UP! Farewell routine, hello housesitters. And exhale xx

By a stroke of cruel luck, we have managed to wipe our calendar for the weekend {insert happy dance}. The cruel part being hubby will be working most of the weekend which has meant pulling out of two commitments, and rescheduling. While I am really disappointed to be missing out on a festive catch up with some very dear friends, this household is in need of two days at home - in a row. Much like many of you I suspect, but very hard to manage this time of year. While staying home means there will be some relaxation involved, there is also a long list I am focussing on ticking off and throwing in the bin by Sunday evening. There will be imaginary miniature cheerleaders on my shoulders all weekend. YES, YOU CAN DO IT! YOU, YOU, CAN DO IT! {Make sure you cheer that bit}

Last night there was a vomiting three year old in the house, and a lengthy blackout. Thankfully the two did not occur simultaneously. Cleaning up vomit by candlelight is not something I want to try out. I really LOVE electricity.
