weekend love

It was long, and busy and full.
We threw a belated birthday celebration for Aunty CC.
Ruby worked hard on gifts and decorations.
As per little sister's request, we ate fish and chips by candlelight.
Followed by sticky date pudding.
In the words of Vanessa Shanessa Jenkins, it was immense.
You MUST make it.
I couldn't put candles in a sticky date pudding.
I just couldn't.
So we made a double layer sprinkle cake (latest Donna Hay Kids issue).
With licorice allsorts.
I got a haircut. {thanks Claire x}
I enjoyed solo coffee.
I spent two and a half hours by myself.
Wonders will never cease.
More belated birthday celebrations for my father in law.
He lights up when he is surrounded by his grandies.
Sunday we made lots of mess.
We moved beds, furniture, toys.
Ruby and Cole are now sharing a bedroom.
We now have a playroom.
I think we need bunks.
Two king singles take up a lot of space.
Eliot needs a bed.
We need to sell the cot.
Do people buy cots with teeth marks in the railing?

I hope your weekend was immense x

  1. Teeth marks on cots don't stop them selling. I sold my old boori (9 years old with teething damage) for $100+ ! On eBay

That licorice all sort cake is amazing!

Your weekend wrap ups are my favourite x
