We've had a big week so far. First day of kindy for one, followed by first day of school for another. My parents flew down for the big event. Living so far apart, they miss a lot. This was a milestone they were not prepared to miss. I am so glad they felt that way. I'm soaking up as much parent time as I can, and resting in the evenings to make up for the late nights of mama worry and last minute organisation that goes into preparing - both them and me - for those big first days. I'll be back later in the week to share more about their first days.
They've both done brilliantly.

Love first days at school. Theres always such a buzz of excitement in the air! Glad yours went well. Mine did too. No tears from any of the kids (or me!)
