I hate feeling like I am playing catch up. Especially when I am trying so hard to get things back on track, rhythm wise. The post holiday lurgy has hit (mostly) the smalls, snot and sneezing galore. Nothing serious, just seriously going through the hanky stash. And the smallest of smalls is preferring to bunk on my lap later in the evening than stay snug in his own bed. Which means I am banished to the couch and forced to watch the Olympics. Life is tough.
So, the weekend! Highly uneventful, just the way we like it around here. I have been so tired since coming home, I just wanted to take things easy. I spent Sunday afternoon photographing a substantial pile of furniture and baby stuff that is heading to ebay. Just as soon as I find the energy to spend hours loading everything. While I did that, the kids preferred to laugh and cheer as dad threw balls on the roof and they tried to catch them as they bounced off. Way more fun.
I hope there was some fun in your weekend x

I love the veggie food faces! You are brilliant! :)
ReplyDeleteYes ditto on the food faces. Great idea. It's tough getting back into the swing of things after a holiday, especially with a cold. Glad you had a good time away though. x
ReplyDeletethe photo of the toes- GORgeous! hope all are feeling better soon. :)sarah
ReplyDeleteHow good has the weather been for getting washing dried, up until now! Sneezes, sniffles and sore throats have returned here too.
ReplyDeleteEase yourself back into the swing of things. There's no hurry. xx
hi Tahnee!
ReplyDeleteUgh it SUCKS being sick. I can vouch for that this week - but looks like you had the right kind of weekend for it. I too have a pile of 'sell on eBay' things but just can't muster up the energy...
And on a completely different note - how on earth did you end up with two blondies! Your hubby has the darkest hair ever! I get E's curls now though ;)
